Our Origin Story
I have always been interested in relationships. I love love. Before I got married, I binged on pre-wedding photos and cried myself to sleep because I couldn’t just understand why my love life wasn’t working.
Eventually, I gave the Father access to my love life. And He took me through a thorough process. What He did for me is what has metamorphosized into Imole Counselling.
I remember that afternoon, it was the day before my wedding, Dec 2019. I was praying towards my wedding & marriage while listening to Imole De by Dunsin Oyekan.
In that moment, the Father said to me,
“the Yorubas (a tribe in Nigeria, West Africa, where I am from) have a saying that “oja okunkun ni igbeyawo, oun to ba banbe lo ri”, loosely interpreted to mean “marriage is black market, whatever you experience after wedding is what you see.””
Then He proceeded to say the following,
“Do you know that, this is not the case for a believer? Marriage for a believer is not black market, because as Christians, we are the light of the world. At creation, I said ‘let there be light, and there was light’. In the same vein, when a Christian is getting married, He or she is supposed to be full of so much light that there is no darkness in the marriage.”
Light means clarity, knowledge and direction. It means knowing what to do and doing it.
During courtship, love is not blind at all, we see every single detail and we make the right choices. In marriage, we cannot be confused, because we have the wisdom of God.
What God has done for me and through me is daily replicated in the lives of hundreds of people through our various trainings, resources and services. Imole Counselling is the place to be. It’s safe, free of judgment, and highly confidential.

About The Founder
Counsellor Esther Solarin is a sought-after Certified Relationship and Marriage Counsellor.
She is the founder of Imole Counselling in Lagos, Nigeria – a counselling service that provides sound, godly, professional counsel for singles and married.
She is also the founder of Marriage Worthy Network, a community where people who desire to have marriages of the Godkind are nurtured and strengthened.
She is the lead facilitator at “The Foundation Masterclass with The Solarins” and “Couples Retreat with the Solarins”.
She is the author of three books:
Esther Solarin bags an Advanced Diploma in Professional Counselling from ADI College of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Nigeria, and she is a Certified Family Life Practitioner from the Institute of Family Engineering and Development.
She is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for her clients and collaborates with them to identify their goals and develop strategies to overcome their challenges.
In addition to her counselling work, Counsellor Esther Solarin is also a public speaker and conducts masterclasses, trainings and courses on topics related to relationships and marriage.
Esther is a lover of God, a wife and a mother. She is fun-loving and a goal-getter; together with God, more relationships and marriages of the God-kind are being established.
